LMI needs your help to serve those who not through their own fault are too often left behind. This task is enormous:
According to the 1999 Kids Count Survey, one in seven children nationwide-that is 9.2 million children-face at least
four risk factors that make them literally 26 times more likely to drop out of school than youths with none of these risk
factors.
For example: Our Mentoring program works to keep kids in school so that they can acquire a passport to success.
To reach more people and help them succeed in life, we depend on tax deductible contributions from generous individuals,coprorations
and foundations.
